My Top 25 Ballot (as of 11/11/11)

(Okay, so I'm writing this on the 10th of November, but I didn't want to annoy some people with the whole DD/MM/YY or MM/DD/YY argument, so its staying as 11/11/11.)

1. LSU (9-0, 6-0 SEC) -Who can argue with this? LSU is the best team in the nation right now, period.

2. Oklahoma State (9-0, 6-0 Big 12) -Good luck staying there Cowboys, barely got past a hurt K-State, no hope against Oklahoma.

3. Stanford (9-0, 7-0 Pac-12) -Destiny is in their hands. If they keep winning, they're #2, lose and their title hopes are gone.

4. Boise State (8-0, 3-0 MWС) -Boise St deserves to make the NCG end of, but any rational person can't rate them higher than this. Played horribly against UNLV.

5. Oklahoma (8-1, 5-1 Big 12) -2nd best 1-loss team ATM, but when they beat OSU, they'll win the Big 12 and maybe get to #2.

6. Alabama (8-1, 5-1 SEC) -A loss is a loss, end of story, but Bama are too good to chuck lower than this, but NC hopes are dashed.

7. Oregon (8-1, 6-0 Pac-12) -The loss to LSU in week one hurt their NC chances, but they'll stir some things up if they beat Stanford.

8. Arkansas (8-1, 4-1 SEC) -Good enough to be in the Top 10, especially after last week, but there out once LSU beats them.

9. Houston (9-0, 5-0 C-USA) -This is where I wish the 12-0s had a playoff. They're great, but won't get ranked any higher than this.

10. Clemson (8-1, 5-1 ACC) -I reckon Clemson could take a few of these other Top 10 teams, but their loss to G-Tech hurt 'em bad.

11. Virginia Tech (8-1, 4-1 ACC) -Only this high because if they beat Clemson, they get the BCS bid, nothing of note otherwise.

12. Penn State (8-1, 5-0 Big Ten) -Hard schedule to finish, if they win out they'll go up, if they don't they'll fall big. But at least they'll be happy in the showers right?

13. South Carolina (7-2, 5-2 SEC) -Only above Georgia because UGA has a hard road to the SEC CG and South Carolina don't.

14. Kansas State (7-2, 4-2 Big 12) -Played awesome against OSU and deserved the win, that counts in my book.

15. Georgia (7-2, 5-1 SEC) -If they win the SEC East then they'll be in the Top 10, but there's still a long way to get there.

16. Michigan State (7-2, 4-1 Big Ten) -The rankings hate them, so I'll stick with the Status Quo. These days no one has a clue who'll make the B1GCG.

17. Wisconsin (7-2, 3-2 Big Ten) -PSU has no IC losses, Wisky has 2, down they go. Unlikely to get anywhere near the division leaders.

18. Texas (6-2, 3-2 Big 12) -I haven't been a fan of the Longhorns at all this year, but they had a great game against T-Tech, so they can't be that bad.

19. Michigan (7-2, 3-2 Big Ten) -Michigan won't get ahead of MSU, but they deserve to be in the Top 20. Unlike what the AP guys think.

20. Georgia Tech (7-2, 4-2 ACC) -Georgia Tech took down Clemson and their NC hopes, and could still take down Georgia and their division hopes.

21. Nebraska (7-2, 3-2 Big Ten) -Losing to Northwestern is almost an unforgiveable sin, but its hard to argue that they're worse than #21.

22. Southern Mississippi (8-1, 4-1 C-USA) -While they may have a record worthy of the Top 12, they're stuck in C-USA and behind Houston, lucky to be ranked.

23. Auburn (6-3, 4-2 SEC) -They're a lot better than we thought they'd be at the start of the year, but not good enough. Lucky to be #23.

24. Cincinnati (7-1, 3-0 Big East) -The best news that the Big East has had is that Boise will give them a ranked team every year. Cincinnati hasn't been tested, SOS is like Boise's, except BSU are undefeated.

25. TCU (7-2, 4-0 MWC) -They won't be ranked for long. BSU will ease over them, but for now, they're better than any #26 team.
